Step 2: Add a background.
Step 3: Add a graphic.
Step 4: Add text.
Step 5: Make edits.
Step 6: Resize the canvas.
Step 7: Print the card.

Step 4: Add Text

  1. Under the Create tab, click Artwork.
  2. Open the Content palette.
  3. In the drop-down lists, select By Type, then Text.
  4. Click to select a text style. For this project, the text style used is Orange Gradient Medium.
  5. Click Apply. The text is placed in the center of the card and appears on a separate layer in the card file.

  6. Initially, the text is selected. Replace the default text with your own text. Note: If you deselect the text and want to select it again, double-click the text to select it.
  7. When the text is selected, the text options bar is displayed. Using the text options bar, you can:

    • Change the font. The font used in this card is Mistral.
    • Specify the font size and other font options.
  8. Select the Move tool to position the text on the card.
