Greeting card

Using one of Photoshop Elements' built-in projects, make a single-fold greeting card. In Step 3, we will add a graphic embellishment to the greeting card.

Project Steps

Follow these steps to create a greeting card.

Step 1: Start a Greeting Card project and specify card options.
Step 2: Add a background.
Step 3: Add a graphic.
Step 4: Add text.
Step 5: Make edits.
Step 6: Resize the canvas.
Step 7: Print the card.

Step 3: Add a Graphic Embellishment

  1. Under the Create tab, click Artwork.
  2. Open the Content palette.
  3. In the drop-down lists, select By Type, then Graphics.
  4. Click to select a graphic embellishment. For this project, the graphic used is the Butterfly Charm.
  5. Click Apply. The graphic is placed in the center of the card and appears on a separate layer in the card file.

  6. Select the Move tool to position the graphic over the bottom right corner of the photo on the card.
