Photoshop Elements: How to Save Brush Sets

You can use the Preset Manager to save custom brush sets to use in Photoshop Elements. Brush sets will have a file extension of .ABR

To save a custom brush set:

  1. Create and save a few custom brushes. See Make a Brush From a Custom Shape to learn how to make a brush.
  2. From the Edit menu, select Preset Manager. The Preset Manager is displayed.

  3. Select Brushes from the drop-down presets list.
  4. Press Ctrl+Click to select the brushes you want to include in a new set.
  5. Click Save Set.
  6. In the Save window, browse to select a location for the brush set, enter a name, and click Save.
