April 30, 2008

You can use the Preset Manager to load custom pattern sets to use in Photoshop Elements. Pattern sets have a file extension of .PAT

To load a custom pattern set:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preset Manager. The Preset Manager is displayed.

  2. Select Patterns from the drop-down presets list.
  3. Click Load.
  4. In the Load window, browse to select a pattern set and click Load. The patterns in the pattern set will be appended to the current patterns.
  5. Click Done. The patterns are now available from the drop-down list on the options bar.
